
BELEM TREVINO
In 2018, I completed my first professional makeup course in Monterrey, Mexico, which sparked my interest in the field. The following year, I furthered my education at the Makeup For Ever Academy in New York City. By 2019, I began working with clients, and in 2022, I sought to enhance my expertise through various masterclasses with international makeup artists.
In 2023, I expanded my skill set by immersing myself in the world of hairstyling. I had the privilege of attending a masterclass with renowned hairstylist Lilia Cardenas, and a professional workshop with makeup artist Cristina Cuéllar in Chicago. Both of these experiences significantly enhanced my craft, allowing me to offer a comprehensive range of services.
Looking ahead to 2024, I’m excited to continue growing and embracing new opportunities. I will be participating in New York Fashion Week in February, a fashion show in Nashville in April, and Miami Swim Week in May. My work will also be featured in Harper’s Bazaar UK in May 2024, and I had the honor of contributing to a Vogue photoshoot with designer Jose Alexander of Love For Upcycling.
To further refine my hairstyling expertise, I attended a masterclass with Heidy Magaña, further pushing my boundaries and skill set to new levels.
I also assisted in the makeup of J. Rey, the lead vocalist of the Black Eyed Peas, in Quebec City, Canada. I am currently about to complete a diploma in Professional Makeup at IDIP (Mexico).
